Lionheart: The will to surviveLionheart: The will to survive

If you look at the moniker Lionheart, you’d suspect them to play power metal with lyrics about knights and knightliness. A quick look at the album title though, “The will to survive”, gives you the feeling of bullshit holding-your-head-in-pride-despite-an-oppressive-world idealism which is standard within the type of music that soft people call hardcore. This is music to rebel against school to, but only the years before you start having grades.

Yeah, fuck Lionheart and their generic self-empowerment concept.

The thing that saddens, or angers, me is that there’s no doubt that there’s people out there who’d describe this bullshit as “intense” or perhaps “uncompromising”. And sure, if you’ve only listened to Nickelback or My Chemical Romance before, then chances are that you’ll think that Lionheart is the craziest badass shiznits since they made it okay for guys to wear eyeliner.

What else is there to say here, really? The riffs and songwriting are utter diarrhea and the screamo faggot on vocals delivers some seriously retarded lyrics. The word “fuck” is probably repeated about twenty times during the album’s first five minutes, which is four fucks a minute, which is infinitely more than these sex starved lowlifes will ever get. The point is that while I really enjoy me a bit profanity every now and then, it looks severely mongoloid when cussing appears to be an alarming percent of your entire vocabulary. You’ll either look very stupid, or your rebellious image will seem incredibly contrived, in which case you’re stupid enough to be a threat to the human gene-pool.

One thing that is good about this album: the cover art. I pity that wolf for being associated with scum like this sorry excuse for a band.

3 badass wolves hopefully feasting on lame ass bandmembers 10.
